What cover do I need as a Tattoo Artist or Piercing Studio Owner?

 Public Liability

This protects you if a member of the public (not necessarily a client) is injured or their property is damaged while in your studio or during your work. This applies as long as the incident isn’t caused by your treatment or professional advice.

Employers Liability

Legally required if you employ anyone — even part-time or temporary assistants. This covers injuries or illness suffered by employees while working for your business. The insurance certificate must be clearly displayed in your studio and Health & Safety regulations must always be followed.
